Jenae McPhatter is the President and Clinical Director of JM Intervention, Inc., a speech and language intervention service that is designed to address the communication needs of both children and adults in the Greater Los Angeles Area. Jenae also hosts a team of school psychologists and occupational therapists, who work collaboratively to provide educational support services to schools within Los Angeles County and surrounding areas.
Jenae completed a Master's Degree in Education, and a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology/ Communication Disorders. She maintains her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech - Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), and is licensed to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in both California and New York. In addition, Jenae maintains certification from the New York State Department of Education as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH), and is also certified in the Compton Pronouncing English as a Second Language (Compton P-ESL) method of accent modification.
Jenae is an experienced Speech- Language Pathologist, skilled at administering evaluations and providing treatment to both children and adults with speech, language, and cognitive deficits. For over a decade, Jenae has provided treatment in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, school districts, and in home-health settings. She also provides intervention to those seeking accent modification and voice modification training. Jenae is passionate about her profession, and uses creative, evidence based strategies to target the specific needs of each client.
